A commemoration service will be held Thursday to mark the 20th anniversary of the Marchioness pleasureboat disaster in which 51 people died when the vessel sank in the Thames.
Survivors and relatives of those who died when the boat collided with the Bowbelle dredger will attend a service at Southwark Cathedral, south London.
The boat had been hired out for Cambridge graduate Antonio de Vasconcellos's 26th birthday party on August 20, 1989.
There were more than 130 guests onboard, including various bright stars of the fashion and finance world.
Among the dead was 19-year-old Francesca Dallaglio, sister of the former England rugby captain Lawrence Dallaglio.
The Marine Accident Investigation Branch blamed poor lookouts on both boats for the Southwark Bridge accident.
Bowbelle captain Douglas Henderson also came in for criticism after it was found he had drunk six pints of lager on the afternoon before the disaster.
