QB Pat White still not recovered from head injury, sits out West Virginia's game with Syracuse

Quarterback Pat White was scratched from West Virginia's game against Syracuse on Saturday due to a head injury.

White was dressed in warmups at kickoff and backup Jarrett Brown got his second career start.

White left the Mountaineers' 24-17 victory over Rutgers a week ago after being gang tackled in the third quarter. Coach Bill Stewart said White didn't suffer a concussion but the quarterback said he remembered little about the game.
