VP, LOCAL BROADCAST
Michael Gay is a digital media leader with over 16 years of experience, and has been a part of teams that generated billions of page views and millions in digital revenue. He has a passion for local communities and their engagement through digital with media companies. In his role of VP, Local Broadcast, Michael has overall management of INFORM’s relationships with local broadcasting partners and will develop and lead a multi-year strategy for INFORM’s local television business.
Prior to joining INFORM, Gay was Vice President of Interactive for Journal Broadcast Group where he launched the acclaimed Radio League app and national websites NowTrending.com and NashvilleEdge.com. In addition, Mr. Gay served as the Corporate Executive Producer, Digital Media for Hearst Television in which he developed and executed the national content and distribution strategy for the group’s 29 websites. Earlier in his career, Mr. Gay held positions at WBBM-TV, a CBS TV Stations Group; KRON-TV and WLNS-TV, Young Broadcasting stations; and WILX-TV, a Benedek Broadcasting station.
Mr. Gay graduated with a Telecommunications degree from Michigan State University and received a Masters of Science in Internet Marketing from Full Sail University. Mr. Gay is based at the company’s headquarters in Atlanta, GA.
