Mary Balabanian


Mary Balabanian, Vice President, Business Development, is responsible for identifying and building valuable partnerships with Inform’s top publishers. Mary joined Inform in the beginning of 2013 and is responsible for a multi-million dollar portfolio that includes premium publishers like McClatchy, Hearst Newspapers, Lee Enterprises, and many others. Mary leads a team of Publisher Development Managers, and is responsible for on-going mentoring and training as well as account assignments. Mary’s key responsibilities include proper execution of video monetization strategy, product adoption, revenue generation, as well as partner retention.

Mary has more than ten years of experience in digital media and more than twelve years of experience in relationship management and SaaS consultative sales.

Before joining Inform, Mary was a Manager, Strategic Partnerships, at Onboard Informatics. There she had a premium portfolio and was responsible for the success of publishers such as CNN Money Magazine, tronc (formerly Tribune Publishing), The Economist, and more. Before Onboard Informatics, Mary worked for Paradies Legardére as a Publisher Marketing Specialist. Mary began her career in Finance, by working as a Senior Financial Management Associate for Ernst & Young, LLP.

Mary earned a Bachelor’s of Business Arts degree from Baruch College in New York City.
