Katherine Gruner, Esq., Corporate Counsel, is responsible for legal support and advice for all Inform business. She manages legal matters spanning contracts, securities, intellectual property, corporate, and compliance. Kae drafts, reviews, and negotiates contracts including strategic relationships, content licensing, distribution agreements, advertising contracts, technology licenses, and leases.
Kae is a board member for the Metro Atlanta Association of Phi Beta Kappa and a member of the American Bar Association. She is also an active member on the Board of Advisors for Georgia Lawyers for the Arts, where she helps provide pro bono legal services and educational programing to low-income artists and non-profit arts organizations.
Before joining Inform, Kae previously worked at Emory University, where she negotiated technology license agreements and managed a portfolio of Emory-owned inventions and other intellectual property. Additionally, Kae worked as a patent attorney for Pearne & Gordon LLP in Cleveland, Ohio.
Kae earned her Juris Doctor degree cum laude from The University of Akron School of Law and graduated with her LL.M. in Intellectual Property Law. She also earned a Bachelorâs degree cum laude in Biology and Spanish from Hiram College. Kae is admitted to practice law in the State of Georgia and before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
